Do I need a laminator?
No. Your pack is printed on ordinary paper. The labels are magnetic dry-erase labels that you write on with a pen.
What do I need to buy?
Magnetic dry-erase labels (your pack says how many of each colour), a fridge door or magnetic whiteboards for the three boards, a permanent marker for the labels and board lines, and a dry-erase pen for the tally.
How long does it take to set up?
Plan an afternoon. You write the labels and draw the board lines once. Our example homes needed about 80 labels each. After that the Sunday routine takes about ten minutes.
Is it only for people with ADHD?
No. It was designed with ADHD in mind, but it suits any household where chores feel like a battle, including families with children.
Why points instead of time?
Because time is not what stops us. A job that is only ten minutes long can feel enormous if the hoover is in another room or the job is unpleasant. Points follow how hard a job is to start, so the hard ones pay more.
What if I do not have a vax, a dishwasher, a tumble dryer or a microwave?
The questionnaire asks, and your pack leaves out the jobs you cannot do. It also asks whether you hang washing out, tumble dry or both, and whether you iron.
Can I add my own jobs or leave some out?
Yes. The questionnaire lets you add your own jobs, scored on how long they take and how hard they are to start, and tick off jobs you do not need. There is also a notes box for anything else.
Can children use it?
Yes. If you tell us you have children, your pack includes tidy-up jobs for them, and they can choose which magnets to take.
What is the reward?
Whatever you choose, such as a meal out, a day trip or a family treat. You pick the points target when you answer the questions.
Is there a prize for whoever does the most?
Yes, if you would like one. Everyone shares the main reward, and you can add a separate prize for the person with the most points when the goal is reached. You can also set a minimum number of points each person needs to qualify for it.
Can I change my pack after I get it?
Yes. Your account shows every job with its points, and you can change names, rooms, points, how often jobs come round, everyone's weekly targets and your prizes, then rebuild your pack (twice in the first two months). If there is something you cannot change yourself, send us a message from your account.
